Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking of high-density polyethylene seamless outer protection pipes and prefabricated direct-buried insulation pipe fittings.
This standard is applicable to the manufacture and inspection of high-density polyethylene seamless outer protection pipes and prefabricated direct-buried insulation pipe fittings, where the temperature of the transported medium (long-term operating temperature) does not exceed 120 °C, and the peak temperature does not exceed 130 °C.
