Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for low-melting point polyester/polyester composite drawn filament yarn.
This standard applies to monofilament yarn with a linear density of 50 dtex to 167 dtex, and a single filament linear density of 2.1 dtex to 7.0 dtex. The yarn consists of a low-melting point polyester outer layer and a polyester inner layer. Other types of low-melting point polyester/polyester composite drawn filament yarns can be referenced for implementation.
