Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, design requirements, quality requirements, welding processes, test and inspection methods, and recommended process specifications for resistance spot welding of metal sheets. This document is applicable to resistance spot welding of metal sheets with a thickness of 0.6 mm to 5 mm, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum alloys.
