Scope
This part specifies the structure and basic dimensional specifications of the overhead limit rules (hereinafter referred to as "overhead rules") and the under-frame limit rules (hereinafter referred to as "under-frame rules") for standard gauge railway locomotives and rolling stock, as well as their technical requirements, installation and adjustment, quality inspection, painting, and marking. This part applies to the design, manufacture, and installation of overhead rules (basic type and widened type) and under-frame rules.
