Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, acceptance rules, marking, and quality assurance for diesel locomotives. This standard applies to diesel locomotives with a gauge of 1,435 mm, powered by diesel engines, and equipped with electric and hydraulic drive systems (hereinafter referred to as "locomotives").
