Scope

This part of GB/T 13033 applies to general wiring cables with a rated voltage of 500 V and 750 V, made of copper cores and copper or copper alloy sheaths. If necessary, a layer of anti-corrosive sheath can be extruded outside the copper sheath. The sheath is not used as an electrical insulation for the metal sheath. The requirements for cable terminals are specified in GB/T 13033.2. This part specifies the manufacturing requirements and characteristics to ensure that the mineral insulated cables are safe and reliable when used correctly, and also stipulates the test methods for verifying compliance with these requirements.
