Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, basic requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for self-acting differential pressure control valves (hereinafter referred to as control valves) used in heating and air conditioning systems.
This standard applies to the manufacture and inspection of self-acting differential pressure control valves in central heating and central air conditioning circulating water (or glycol solution) systems.
