Scope

This document specifies the requirements for plastic valves used in micro-irrigation, which are made primarily from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin or polyethylene (PE) resin. It covers aspects such as material properties, classification, appearance, color, dimensions, physical and mechanical performance, and describes the corresponding test methods. It also stipulates inspection rules, marking requirements, packaging specifications, transportation guidelines, and storage conditions. This document is applicable to micro-irrigation water distribution pipe network systems where the water temperature does not exceed 45°C and the maximum operating pressure (MOP) does not exceed 1.0 MPa.
