Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for liquid hydrogen production systems, hydrogen liquefaction devices, liquid hydrogen storage, hydrogen gas discharge, automatic control and detection analysis, electrical facilities, lightning and static electricity protection, protective grounding, auxiliary facilities, and safety protection requirements.
This standard applies to the design of new, renovated, and expanded liquid hydrogen production systems.
This standard does not apply to liquid hydrogen production systems in the military, defense, and aerospace fields.
