Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic dimensions of conical threads, classification and marking, structural types and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality certificates of conical threaded thin-walled stainless steel pipes and fittings. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of conical threaded thin-walled stainless steel pipes and fittings for the transportation of drinking water, domestic drinking water, and hot water with a nominal diameter not exceeding 200mm and a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6MPa. Other pipes such as seawater, gas, medical gas, and fire-fighting water can also be used as reference for application.
