Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of butterfly valves for water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves).
This standard applies to butterfly valves for water supply and drainage with nominal sizes of DN50 to DN2600, nominal pressures of PN2.5 to PN16, and made of cast iron.
