Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and storage for butterfly valves used in water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valves).
This standard applies to butterfly valves used in urban water supply and drainage with a nominal size of DN50 to DN2600, a nominal pressure of PN2.5 to PN25, and a medium temperature not exceeding 80 °C.
