Scope

This document specifies the test method for the electrochemical performance of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes in saturated calcium sulfate and magnesium hydroxide media. This document is applicable to the testing of the electrochemical performance of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes (hereinafter referred to as "buried anodes") in a simulated environment of buried anode filling with saturated calcium sulfate and magnesium hydroxide test electrolytes. The test of the electrochemical performance of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes used in water heaters in freshwater (hereinafter referred to as "water heater anodes") can be used as a reference.
