Scope

1.0.1 This regulation is formulated to strengthen and standardize the management of urban water supply plants, and to ensure safe, stable, high-quality, and low-cost water supply. 1.0.2 This regulation applies to the operation, maintenance, and safety management of urban water supply plants that use surface water and groundwater as water sources. 1.0.3 This regulation stipulates the basic technical requirements for the operation, maintenance, and safety of urban water supply plants. When this regulation conflicts with the provisions of national laws and administrative regulations, the provisions of national laws and administrative regulations shall prevail. 1.0.4 In addition to complying with this regulation, the operation, maintenance, and safety of urban water supply plants shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards.
