GB/T 18663.3-2007 Mechanical structures for electronic equipment—Tests for IEC 60917 and IEC 60297—Part 3:Electromagnetic shielding performance tests for cabinets, racks and subracks
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18663 specifies the electromagnetic shielding performance test of empty cabinets and plug-in boxes in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 2,000 MHz, and stipulates the selected attenuation values for the shielding performance levels of cabinets and plug-in boxes in the IEC 60297 and IEC 60917 series. The shielding performance levels are selected based on the requirements of typical fields in industrial applications and support this measurement to achieve electromagnetic compatibility, but cannot replace the final conformity test of the cabinets equipped with equipment. The purpose of this part is to ensure the physical integrity and environmental performance of cabinets and plug-in boxes, taking into account the needs of different performance levels in different applications. It is intended to give users confidence in selecting products to meet their specific needs. This part is only fully or partially applicable to empty cabinets, such as cabinets and plug-in boxes that comply with IEC 60297 and IEC 60917, and is not applicable to cabinets after the installation of electronic equipment. This part is closely related to IEC 61000-5-7, but it pays special attention to cabinets and plug-in boxes and the determination of performance levels in the selected frequency range.
