Scope

This section specifies the earthquake test requirements for cabinets or racks that comply with the GB/T 19290 and GB/T 19520 series. It only applies in whole or in part to the mechanical structures of electronic equipment cabinets or racks in the GB/T 19290 and GB/T 19520 series, and does not apply to the electronic equipment or systems in the mechanical structures. This section helps to ensure the physical integrity and environmental performance of cabinets or racks, taking into account the needs of different performance levels in different applications and regions. Its purpose is to enable users to have full confidence when selecting equipment to meet their specific needs. The specific samples selected are shown in Figure 1.
