Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of self-priming solenoid valves for household gas appliances. This standard applies to self-priming solenoid valves for household gas appliances (referred to as "solenoid valves") that operate with a direct current power supply of no more than 24 V and are used to cut off/conduct gas flow. Note: The M gas referred to in this standard is the gas specified in GB/T 13611-2006 "Classification and Basic Characteristics of Urban Gas" and GB/T 13612-006 "Artificial Gas".
