Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, structural requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of temperature controllers for household gas instantaneous water heaters (hereinafter referred to as temperature controllers). This standard applies to single-phase AC rated voltages not exceeding 250 V and rated currents not exceeding 16 A; DC rated voltages not exceeding 125 V and rated currents not exceeding 10 A, used to prevent overtemperature of bimetallic temperature controllers.
