YY/T 0750-2009 Ultrasonics—Physiotherapy systems—Field specifications and methods of measurement in the frequency range 0.5 MHz to 5 MHz
Basic Information
Scope
This standard applies to ultrasound energy generated by ultrasonic transducers in the frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 5 MHz, designed for physical therapy purposes.
This standard only concerns ultrasound therapy devices that use single-plane non-focused disc transducers in each treatment head, which generate a steady-state beam perpendicular to the end face of the treatment head.
This standard specifies:
—— Methods for measuring and characterizing the output performance of ultrasound therapy devices based on reference test methods;
—— Characteristics specified by ultrasound therapy device manufacturers based on reference test methods;
—— Safety guidelines for the ultrasonic sound field generated by ultrasound therapy devices;
—— Methods for measuring and characterizing the output of ultrasound therapy devices based on routine test methods;
—— Acceptance criteria for the output of ultrasound therapy devices based on routine test methods.
This standard does not include the treatment parameters and usage methods of ultrasound therapy devices.
