Scope

This document specifies the composition and models of mobile metal hydride reversible hydrogen storage and release systems, their usage conditions, design requirements, testing requirements, marking and labeling, and product documentation.
This document applies to metal hydride reversible hydrogen storage and release systems used in road motor vehicles and on-site motor vehicles that store hydrogen as the storage medium. The shell water volume used in these systems shall not exceed 150 L, and the maximum temperature rise pressure shall not exceed 25 MPa. The operating temperature range shall be -40°C to 65°C. Metal hydride reversible hydrogen storage and release systems used in hydrogen-powered ships, trams, construction machinery, power generation devices, etc. may refer to this document for guidance.
