Scope

This standard specifies the finishing, shoulder spacing, deburring grooves, and chamfer dimensions of 55° sealed and non-sealed pipe threads (Rp, Rc, R1, R2, and G), 60° sealed and dry-sealed pipe threads (NPT, NPSC, NPTF, PTFSAE SHORT, NPSF, and NPSI), and metric sealed threads (Mc and Mp). The 55° sealed and non-sealed pipe threads comply with the provisions of GB/T 7306 (all parts) and GB/T 7307; the 60° sealed and dry-sealed pipe threads comply with the provisions of GB/T 12716 and GB/T 27944; and the metric sealed threads comply with the provisions of GB/T 1415. This standard applies to the design and processing of pipe thread products.
