Scope

This part of FZ/T 80011 is applicable to the exchange of two-dimensional pattern data between different clothing CAD systems and between CAD/CAPP systems. Future three-dimensional data exchange standards that are developed need to be compatible with this standard.
The pattern data types defined in this part comply with the product data representation and exchange standard STEP (Product Data Representation and Exchange). It is recommended to map STEP to XML (eXtensible Markup Language) and use the XML file format for the exchange of pattern data files.
