Scope

This document specifies the assembly of single polymer electrolyte fuel cells, test devices, measurement instruments and methods, performance test methods, and test reports.
Note: The fuel for the single polymer electrolyte fuel cells specified in this document is gaseous hydrogen.
This document is applicable to the evaluation of the following three items:
a) The performance of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell membrane electrode assembly;
b) The materials or structures of other components of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell;
c) The impact of impurities in the fuel and air on the performance of the battery.
Note: This document is only applicable to proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Other polymer electrolyte fuel cells can refer to the test content of this document.
