Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for cationic dye-able modified polyester pre-oriented filament yarns.
This standard applies to cationic dye-able modified polyester (CDP) pre-oriented filament yarns with a linear density of 55.0 dtex to 1000.0 dtex and a single filament linear density of 0.5 dtex to 10.0 dtex, and a circular cross-section. Other types of cationic dye-able modified polyester pre-oriented filament yarns can be used as reference.
