Scope

This part specifies the strength test methods and acceptance conditions for the front-mounted protective devices of narrow-track wheeled tractors in agriculture and forestry. This part is applicable to pneumatic tire tractors with two axles, where the ground clearance between the lowest points of the front and rear axles does not exceed 600 mm; for tractors equipped with larger-sized tires on the front or rear wheels, regardless of whether the wheelbase is fixed or adjustable, the minimum wheelbase should not exceed 1,150 mm; the unladen mass of the tractor (including the protective device and the maximum tire provided by the manufacturer) should be greater than 600 kg and less than 3,000 kg.
