Scope

This standard specifies the conditions of use for large-scale railway line machinery, the requirements for the whole vehicle and various systems, product requirements, test and acceptance, marking, packaging, and transportation, etc.
This standard applies to large-scale railway line machinery used on 1,435 mm gauge railways. Railway large-scale line machinery for non-standard gauge railways may be implemented with reference to this standard.
