Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements for the application of metallurgical slag fiber (MF) boards in construction projects, as well as the system and material performance requirements, design, construction, and acceptance. This document is applicable to the design, construction, and quality acceptance of MF board insulation projects (cast-in-place external wall insulation, insulation decorative board external wall insulation, floor insulation, floor tile insulation, or floor insulation) in new, renovated, or expanded civil buildings in areas with an earthquake resistance intensity of 8 or less.
