YY/T 0482-2022 Magnetic resonance equipment for medical imaging—Determination of essential image quality parameters

Scope

This document specifies the measurement procedures for determining some of the main image quality parameters of magnetic resonance equipment. This document is applicable to:
——Quality evaluation during acceptance tests;
——Quality assurance during stability tests.
Note 1: Not all tests provide the performance levels required for acceptance tests.
This document is not applicable to:
——Determining performance levels during acceptance tests and stability tests;
——Image quality evaluation of high-field magnetic resonance equipment greater than 8 T, unless otherwise specified;
——Image quality affected by magnetic resonance compatibility issues;
——Special diagnostic procedures, such as blood flow imaging, perfusion, diffusion, radiotherapy, and image-guided therapy applications;
——Type testing.
Note 2: The scope of this document is also limited to measuring image quality characteristics collected on test phantoms, rather than on patient images.
Note 3: All methods in this document have not been extensively tested at a static magnetic field strength of more than 3 T. Initial tests indicate that these methods can function properly when using appropriate test phantom fillers.
