Scope

This standard specifies the laboratory test method for determining the static slope capability of the liquid systems (engine, transmission system, fuel system, oil system, etc.) of earthmoving machinery during operation. The slope limit value of the liquid systems of earthmoving machinery is a performance parameter for evaluating the static slope capability.
The preferred method for testing static slope capability is to place the machine on an inclined platform or a specially designed slope. Another alternative method is to test the entire liquid system on a test stand. Each method should have measures to ensure safety.
This standard applies to earthmoving machinery defined in GB/T 8498 and equipped with standard working devices.
