Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for short-term use seats installed on dump trucks defined in GB/T 8498. These seats are intended for use by coaches, inspectors, or maintenance personnel. The configuration or installation of "coaches' seats" is not a mandatory requirement.
This standard does not apply to small dump trucks defined in GB/T 8498.
Note: Engineers and designers may design such seats and environmental spaces in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
