本标准规定了金属材料夏比V型缺口摆锤冲击试验仪器化试验方法的术语和定义、原理、试样、试验设备及仪器、试验步骤、试验结果评定和处理及试验报告。
本标准适用于金属材料仪器化夏比V型缺口摆锤冲击性能的测定。
与GB/T 229夏比摆锤冲击试验方法相比,本标准提供了比普通冲击试验更为丰富的产品相关断裂信息。U型缺口试样也可参照本标准。
