Scope

This document specifies the structural type, materials, processing and assembly quality, non-destructive testing, balance quality, water flow, roll surface rubber coating quality, roll surface plating, coating, and spraying requirements for steel tube rolls used in paper machines. It also describes the corresponding test methods and stipulates requirements for inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. This document is applicable to the production, design, inspection, and sales of paper machine rolls with a diameter of less than 2,000 mm, including chest rolls, case rolls, pressure rolls, drive net rolls, guide rolls, paper drawing rolls, paper winding rolls, paper winding cylinders, forming rolls, and other steel tube roll cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "steel tube rolls").
