Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for the energy consumption limits of individual products in ethylene plants (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption), as well as energy-saving management and measures.
This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption in ethylene plants that produce ethylene, propylene, mixed C4, cracked gasoline, and hydrogen from petroleum hydrocarbons through steam thermal cracking, quenching, compression, and separation processes, as well as to the energy consumption control of new projects.
