Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, order content, materials, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, quality certificates, transportation, and storage of high-strength steel strands used in building structures (hereinafter referred to as steel strands). This standard applies to steel strands used in building structures with a nominal tensile strength of not less than 1,570 MPa.
