Scope

This document specifies the routine tests for quality control of scintillation cameras and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) devices.
This document applies to single-photon scintillation cameras for planar scintillation imaging and tomography with parallel-hole collimators, single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) systems with parallel-hole collimators, and the SPECT portion of SPECT/CT systems. The acceptance test methods covered in this document are described in IEC 61675-2.
