Scope
This standard specifies the classification and models, materials, structures, and connection dimensions of manual gas valves for buildings (hereinafter referred to as valves), as well as requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to manual gas ball valves and bottom-sealed plug valves installed on non-directly buried gas devices and facilities inside and outside buildings, with a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa, a nominal size not exceeding 100 mm, and an operating temperature not exceeding -20 ℃ to 60 ℃, where the lower limit is not lower than the gas dew point temperature.
The gas referred to in this standard complies with the provisions of GB/T 13611.
