Scope

This standard specifies the selection principles and basic requirements for the installation of safety accessories and instruments for pressure-bearing equipment such as pressure vessels and industrial pipelines.
This standard applies to safety relief devices, emergency shut-off devices, and other safety accessories and instruments used in pressure-bearing equipment such as pressure vessels and industrial pipelines.
This standard does not apply to the following pressure-bearing equipment:
——Boilers, gas cylinders, oxygen chambers, and non-metallic pressure-bearing equipment;
——Pressure-bearing equipment for military equipment and nuclear facilities;
——Pressure-bearing equipment used in aerospace vehicles, railway locomotives, marine facilities, and ships, as well as in underground mining operations.
