Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, structures, materials, and components of urban gas odorizing devices (hereinafter referred to as odorizing devices), as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to odorizing devices for adding and storing liquid odorants with a temperature range of -30 °C to 50 °C and a kinematic viscosity of 0.3 mm2/s to 50 mm2/s in pipeline gas.
