Scope

This standard specifies the measurement and evaluation methods for the optical radiation safety characteristics of home laser display systems (hereinafter referred to as the system), including measurement conditions, measurement equipment, measurement steps, data processing, and evaluation.
This standard applies to the measurement and evaluation of the optical radiation safety characteristics of lasers, incoherent light, and mixed light sources with a spectral range of 380 nm to 780 nm involved in home ultra-short-focus laser display systems. The measurement and evaluation of the optical radiation safety characteristics of fluorescent light sources can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
This standard does not apply to the measurement and evaluation of the optical radiation safety characteristics of laser scanning display systems.
