Scope
This part of GB/T 33933 specifies the major hazard list, safety requirements and/or protective measures for natural stone mining using diamond string saws, the verification of safety requirements and/or protective measures, and usage information.
This part sets forth restrictions on the use of diamond string saws for natural stone mining from the perspectives of physical performance and intended use. The safety requirements specified in this part apply to the hazards arising at all stages during the machine's service life as stipulated in GB/T 15706-2012 Section 5.4.
This part applies to non-self-propelled diamond string saws (hereinafter referred to as "string saws") used in natural stone mines, where electric motors are the main driving force and diamond string ropes are used as cutting tools to extract rough blocks.
