本文件规定了装在机柜中的带槽电缆线槽系统的结构、机械性能、电气性能、热性能等技术要求。
本文件作为GB/T 19215系列的一部分，规定了为电气装置和/或通信系统装置的绝缘导体、电缆和其他可能的电气设备特设的，并在必要之处，将它们电保护隔离开的电缆槽和电缆管系统的要求和试验。这些装置最大的电压为1 000 V(AC)和1 500 V(DC)。
带槽电缆线槽系统安装在电气装置和/或通信系统装置的机柜内。
本文件不适用于导管系统、电缆托架系统、梯架(电缆桥架)、电力轨道系统或其他国家标准覆盖的设备。
