Scope

IEC 61400-25 focuses on the general requirements for communication between various components (such as wind turbines) and participants (such as SCADA systems) in wind farms. The internal communication of each component of the wind farm is not within the scope of application.
GB/T 30966.5 designs a communication environment supported by the client-server model, defines the following three aspects, and models them separately to ensure the measurability of the implementation:
1) Wind farm information model;
2) Information exchange model;
3) Mapping of the information model and information exchange model to standard communication protocols.
The wind farm information model and information exchange model form an interface between the client and the server. As an interpretation framework for accessing wind farm data, the wind farm information model provides unified, component-oriented wind farm data to the client through the server. The information exchange model reflects all the effective functions of the server. IEC 61400-25 enables common access between different clients and servers from different manufacturers and suppliers.
As shown in Figure 1, the server defined by IEC 61400-25 includes the following aspects:
——Information provided by wind farm components, such as "wind turbine rotor speed" or "total power generation within a certain period of time", which is modeled and can be effectively accessed. The modeled information is defined in the GB/T 30966.2 information model;
——Exchange services for modeled information values, defined in the GB/T 30966.3 information exchange model;
——Mapping to communication protocols, providing a protocol stack to obtain exchange values from modeled information (GB/T 30966.4).
GB/T 30966.5 defines test cases related to information, services, and protocol stacks for server-client consistency testing.
IEC 61400-25 only defines how to model information, information exchange
