Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for gas supply systems, calculation methods, gas equipment, gas supply pipelines, gas appliances and gas-using equipment, remote information transmission and automatic control systems, and completion acceptance and operation and maintenance in industrial and commercial gas supply projects.
This standard applies to gas supply projects for industrial and commercial gas users using natural gas and piped liquefied petroleum gas as gas sources, including all gas facilities at the end-user terminals, such as user regulators, filters, metering devices, early warning and automatic handling systems, up to gas appliances and gas-using equipment, as well as the connected pipeline systems and automatic control and remote monitoring systems related to safety, energy conservation and environmental protection, hygiene, and public interests.
