Scope

This standard specifies the test conditions, test equipment, sample preparation, test steps, calculation of results, and test reports for determining the reduction performance of iron ore.
Note: The characteristics of the specified test method are: isothermal reduction using a mixture of CO and N2 in a fixed bed; and the samples have a certain particle size range.
This method is suitable for determining the reduction properties of iron ore (including natural iron ore, sintered ore, and pellet ore, hereinafter referred to as iron ore) expressed as reduction degree and reduction rate.
