Scope
This document specifies the safety technical requirements for organic heat transfer fluids used in various types of organic heat transfer fluid boilers and organic heat transfer fluid heat transfer systems.
This document applies to organic heat transfer fluids used in various organic heat transfer fluid boilers, solar thermal energy storage, or other heating equipment as a heat source, and for the purpose of indirect heating. It does not apply to organic heat transfer fluids used solely for freezing and low-temperature cooling purposes, nor does it apply to silicone-based heat transfer fluids.
