Scope
This part of GB/T 5019 specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-permeability glass cloth reinforced epoxy-based mica tapes (hereinafter referred to as mica tapes) for vacuum pressure impregnation. This part is applicable to high-permeability glass cloth reinforced epoxy-based mica tapes, which are based on mica paper, bonded with epoxy resin, and reinforced on one side with alkali-free electrical glass cloth. They are soft under normal conditions and used for the main insulation treatment of large high-voltage motor coils and line rods. Their final curing performance also depends on the vacuum pressure impregnation resin used.
