Scope
Scope: This part of T/HLX 001 specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, seedling cultivation techniques, field transplanting, field management, harvesting and storage, and straw processing operation instructions for Huaian rice, and describes traceability methods such as production archives. This part applies to the production of japonica and indica rice for Huaian rice processing. Main technical content: 1. Production environment shall comply with T/HLX 001.1-2018 "Huaian Rice - Part 1: Production Environment Requirements". 2. Variety selection shall comply with the relevant provisions of the "Seed Law of the People's Republic of China". To ensure the brand advantage of "Huaian Rice", it is proposed to "select rice varieties with high yield, comprehensive resistance, and good eating quality (eating value ≥80) that have passed national or local approval or registration by seed industry consortia and been successfully demonstrated in local demonstrations. The seed quality shall comply with GB 4404.1". 3. Fertilizer use guidelines: - "Fertilizer use principles shall comply with NY/T 496 'Guidelines for Rational Use of Fertilizers - General Principles' and GB/T 17420 'Trace Element Foliar Fertilizers'"; - "It is prohibited to use chemical fertilizers that have not been registered by agricultural authorities"; - "It is prohibited to use fertilizers (including organic and mineral fertilizers) with excessive heavy metal content". The "Limit values for major heavy metals in fertilizers" are listed in an appendix. - To prevent the loss of fertilizer fertility, a "7-day safe drainage period" is specified. 4. Pesticide use guidelines: - "Pesticide use shall comply with GB 4285 and GB/T 8321 (all parts)"; - An appendix specifies "prohibited pesticide varieties in Huaian high-quality rice production" and "common pesticide varieties and application methods, dosages, and safety intervals in Huaian high-quality rice produ
