Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of heat-resistant steel resistant to radiation, order content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled and forged rods with a diameter not exceeding 150 mm used in the nuclear industry (hereinafter referred to as steel rods). The grades and chemical compositions specified in this standard are also applicable to steel ingots, steel billets, and their products.
