Scope

This standard applies to the structural safety monitoring systems of complex and important bridges, such as beam bridges with a main span of not less than 150m, arch bridges of 200m, cable-stayed bridges of 300m, and suspension bridges of 500m. Other bridge structural safety monitoring systems can be used as a reference for implementation.
