Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test principles, test conditions, instruments and equipment, test pieces, and test procedures for the reliability testing of bonded structures of building glass curtain walls. This standard is applicable to the on-site reliability testing of existing hidden-frame and semi-hidden-frame glass curtain walls, but not to the on-site reliability testing of glass curtain walls using mechanical connections.
